Joseph H. McCann III
Managing Director
Prior to helping found Fusion Advisory Partners, Inc., Joe McCann was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of McCann Partners, a retainer-based financial institutions executive search firm.
During his search career, Joe helped financial services firm CEOs acquire large teams of professionals and entire divisions of other financial institutions, as well as assisted with the sale of their firms. In his more than 20 years as a search consultant, Joe successfully completed more than 350 financial institution searches in the United States and around the world.
Before becoming a search consultant, Joe worked for Bankers Trust Company and Marine Midland Bank in debt capital markets, private placements and lending.
Joe received his bachelor's degree from Lafayette College and his master's degree in business administration from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School. In addition, he served for two years with the United States Peace Corps in Honduras.
Joe lives in Greenwich, Conn., with his wife, Jane; his daughter, Ruth; and his son, Henrie.
